Add Mikrotik ass SQUID proxy server

To add SQUID Proxy Caching Server support in Mikrotik, Assuming the following Scenario.

DSL MODEM IP = 192.168.1.1

MIKROTIK LAN IP = 10.0.0.1

SQUID LAN IP = 192.168.2.1

I assume that you already have working Mikrotik in place, and Already configured SQUID Server ready, (You can search guides about there configurations at my blog), I will just show you how to interconnect them together so All users browsing port 80 request will go to SQUID for caching facility)

We will divide this article in two sections.

Mikrotik Have 3 Interfaces.

ether1 = 10.0.0.1

Connected to LAN

ether2 = 192.168.2.2

Connected Directly to PROXY's eth0 via crossover cable.

ether3 = 192.168.1.2

Connected Directly to WAN/DSL

As shown in the image below . . .

Open New Terminal and create new NAT rule to redirect port 80 traffic to SQUID proxy server. Command as follows.

`2`	`add action=dst-nat chain=dstnat disabled=no dst-port=80 protocol=tcp to-addresses=192.168.2.1 to-ports=8080`

[192.168.2.2 is the SQUID proxy server ip]

As shown in the image below . . .

That's it for mikrotik configuration, moving on to squid

2# SQUID CONFIGURATION

SQUID PROXY SERVER have two Interfaces

eth0 = 192.168.2.1

Connected Directly with Mikrotik's PROXY interface via crossover cable.

eth1 = 192.168.1.3

Connected Directly with WAN/DSL

Note: I Will not discuss howto configure SQUID here as it have already been well described in my other articles as follows, Therefore I assume you have already configured SQUID and must be running it in TRANSPARENT mode (using squid.conf directives and iptables)

Add the following line in /etc/squid/squid.conf

`1`	`# PORT and Transparent Option`

`2`	`http_port 8080 transparent`

For iptables to redirect user request to port 8080 transparently, Add the following line in /etc/rc.local or issue the command at CLI,

`1`	`iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT --to 192.168.2.1:8080`

Where eth0 is LAN interface of SQUID.

Now Try to Browse, and at Proxy Server , Monitor SQUID Log by following command

`1`	`tail -f /var/log/squid/access.log`

and you will see User Browsing request coming via Mikrotik ip.

As shown in the image below . . .

If you want to log USER's Original IP address instead of Mikrotik, Either add route in Squid server for your local user subnet pointing to mikrotik proxy interface, OR you have to use Packet Marking + ROUTING method as described in the following article.

Hampir setiap hari media-media membicarakan mengenai pembuatan Mobil asal Indonesia ini. Salah satu hal yang menyebabkan mencuatnya berita ini adalah Digunakannya Mobil Kiat ESEMKA Rajawali oleh Walikota Solo Ir. Jokowi untuk keperluan kendaraan dinas di tahun 2012 ini.

Akibatnya para pejabat dan masyarakat berbondong-bondong untuk memesan mobil karya anak-anak SMK ini. Walaupun sampai dengan saat ini belum memenuhi uji kelaikan, tetapi kualitas, keiritan, hemat, serta desain mobil ESEMKA ini mampu menarik banyak perhatian masyarakat, apalagi ini merupakan buatan Indonesia.

Nah pada kesempatan kali ini kami akan memberikan sedikit informasi mengenai Bagaimana Proses Pembuatan Mobil Kiat ESEMKA yang dilakukan oleh Siswa - Siswa SMK ini. Maraknya minat masyarakat terhadap produk mobil Kiat Esemka disikapi dengan sigap. Maka 12 SMK yang mengadakan pertemuan di bengkel Kiat Motor selaku perusahaan yang bekerjasama membuat mobil ESEMKA ini. Alamat Kiat Motor sendiri berada di Jalan Jogja-Solo, Dukuh Ngaran, Mlese, Ceper, Klaten. Hasil pertemuan tersebut mengatakan bahwa Mobil Kiat Esemka siap untuk dibuat dan diproduksi secara massal.

Pertemuan tersebut dilakukan untuk membahas reaksi besar atas mobil hasil karya anak negeri tersebut serta membahas banyaknya pesanan yang diterima serta tindak lanjut mengenai Proses Pembuatan Mobil Kiat ESEMKA secara massal. Adapun yang Hadir dalam pertemuan tersebut perwakilan dari SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk, SMK Negeri 2 Solo, SMK Negeri 5 Solo, SMK Warga Solo, SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga, SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri, SMK Negeri 1 Semarang, SMK Tunas Harapan Pati, SMK Negeri 1 Madiun, SMK Negeri 1 Kediri, SMK Jenangan Ponorogo dan SMK Negeri 1 Tengaran Salatiga.

Pertemuan tersebut juga dihadiri Direktur Pembinaan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional, Joko Sutrisno. Kepala SMK Negeri 1 Trucuk, Wardani Sugiyanto, menuturkan dalam Proses Pembuatan Mobil Kiat ESEMKA untuk cetak mobil sudah banyak pihak yang mengajukan tawaran. Nilai tawaran tersebut dikabarkan mencapai Rp94 miliar.

Meski demikian, Wardani belum bisa menyebutkan pihak mana saja yang menyatakan minatnya. "Ini sudah aset nasional. Dalam hal ini, kami melakukan pembagian tugas dalam proses pembuatan serta perakitan mobil karena banyaknya pesanan. Kami tidak mungkin melakukan sendiri-sendiri dan membutuhkan bantuan serta dukungan dari banyak pihak," untuk proses pembuatan ESEMKA paparnya.

Sementara itu, Joko Sutrisno, mengatakan pembuatan produksi massal baru bisa dilakukan setelah keluarnya izin yang saat ini sedang diproses oleh Pemkot Solo. Produksi massal diperkirakan akan mulai dilakukan sebulan mendatang. Ditambahkan Joko, pertemuan tersebut dilakukan untuk mematangkan rencana awal untuk persiapan produksi massal. "Kami sudah siap berproduksi. Akan dibagi siapa yang membuat apa, dan di mana. Nantinya akan dikumpulkan di assembly line untuk dirakit menjadi kendaraan," tandasnya. Lebih lanjut Joko mengatakan Kementerian Keuangan sudah memberikan dukungan berupa kemudahan fiskal. Preparing for Cleft Pallate Surgery

Before taking your baby in for surgery it is likely you will have been given a special post-surgical feeding method - it is essential you practise this before the surgery so your baby is upset as little as possible in recovery.

You are able to visit the Ward beforehand and ask any questions you might have. It's also a good idea to think ahead about what will happen when you return home with baby- do you have enough help with your other children, meals, housework so you can concentrate on your baby's recovery needs and appointments.

Lots of photos taken before surgery and afterwards, with every member of the family involved, will also be a valuable and priceless record everyone can look back on. Because once the changes start happening there's no going back.

On the day

On the day bring familiar and comforting articles with you for baby- like toys, blankets, books and music.Make sure your other children have had everything fully explained to them so they feel part of what's happening and can look forward to the outcome.

If your surgeon requires, your baby may need to wear armsplints after the surgery to keep the repair safe from harm. One pair is given to you free from Cleft New Zealand and the nurses will give you these at the hospital. If you would like another pair, you can order here.

Postponement

Surgeries are sometimes postponed either because of an emergency at the hospital or because our babies catch colds, which is not safe for anaesthetic.

If your baby or child does catch a cold visit your GP as soon as possible, and in fact some parents choose to stay at home before surgery to minimise the risk of infection. The risk of postponement is there with all surgeries no matter what they are for, and there is always a next time.

Plans can change…

Fully repairing a cleft takes time, and the plan you have been working to can change slightly as your child grows. It's advisable to focus on the immediate treatment rather than fretting or worrying what's ahead as this really depends on how your child develops - and as individuals, they all develop differently.

Surgery Timing

The time when surgeries are carried out do vary slightly between countries- the timings in New Zealand have been decided by the medical profession due to a number of key factors:

The size and general health of the baby for successful surgery.

The repairs need to match the developmental stage of the child, ie the mouth being anatomically and physiologically correct before the child learns to talk (around 9 months of age)

Individual experience and preference of the surgeons.

Collective knowledge based on prior experience and international research.

Given the above factors have been met, generally in New Zealand, a cleft lip is repaired between 3-5 months of age and a cleft palate is repaired between 9-12 months of age. For more information go to Medical Facts.

As your child grows

Taking your child for surgery doesn't get any easier. As your child grows up they are more aware and involved in the process. Make sure your child has the information they need to feel confident. For young children they don't need complicated explanations or a long time to think about it before hand. Answer any questions they have honestly. Start off simply and if they want to know more they will ask another question.

Part of growing up is relying on other sources of information to help you make decisions. Your teenager will want information from other young people, sometimes in replace of you. Cleft Palate

Cleft lip and cleft palate comprise the most common birth defect in the United States. One of every 600 newborns is affected by cleft lip and/or cleft palate.

A cleft lip is a separation of the two sides of the lip. The separation often includes the bones of the upper jaw and/or upper gum. A cleft palate is an opening in the roof of the mouth in which the two sides of the palate did not fuse, or join together, as the unborn baby was developing. Cleft lip and cleft palate can occur on one side (unilateral cleft lip and/or palate), or on both sides (bilateral cleft lip and/or palate). Because the lip and the palate develop separately, it is possible for the child to have a cleft lip, a cleft palate, or both cleft lip and cleft palate.

Cleft lip and cleft palate are congenital defects, or birth defects, which occur very early in pregnancy. The majority of clefts appear to be due to a combination of genetics and environmental factors. The risks of recurrence of a cleft condition are dependent upon many factors, including the number of affected persons in the family, the closeness of affected relatives, the race and sex of all affected persons, and the severity of the clefts.

A child born with a cleft frequently requires several different types of services, e.g., surgery, dental/orthodontic care, and speech therapy, all of which need to be provided in a coordinated manner over a period of years. This coordinated care is provided by interdisciplinary cleft palate/craniofacial teams comprised of professionals from a variety of health care disciplines who work together on the child's total rehabilitation.

Some glossaries about cleft pallate:

A

Alveolar Ridge: The bony ridge of the gumline containing the teeth.

Anesthesia: Drugs provided during a surgical or dental operation that put the child to sleep.

Articulation: Movements of the mouth and airway that produce speech.

Articulation Test: An evaluation which provides information about how speech sounds are formed.

Audiogram: A record of hearing levels or sensitivity.

Audiologist: A person with a degree, license, and certification in audiology (science of hearing) who measures hearing, identifies hearing loss, and participates in rehabilitation of hearing impairment.

C

Columella: The central, lower portion of the nose which divides the nostrils into right and left.

Communication Disorder: An interference with a person's ability to comprehend others or express themselves (usually in verbal form).

Comprehension: Knowledge or understanding of spoken or written language.

Congenital: A disease, deformity, or deficiency existing at the time of birth.

Consonant: Every letter sound except a,e,i,o,u.

Craniofacial Anomaly: A visible, structural and/or functional difference affecting the head (cranium) and/or face.

Crossbite: A dental condition where the upper teeth are behind the lower teeth rather than in front of them.

D

Denasality: The quality of voice that lacks normal nasal resonance for /m /n/ ng ("head cold" sound).

Dental Arch: The curved structure formed by the teeth in their normal position.

Dental Extraction: Dental procedures performed to remove damaged, malformed, or malpositioned teeth.

Dental Restoration: Dental procedures performed to repair or correct damaged, malformed, or missing teeth.

E

Eardrum: Tympanic membrane which vibrates and transmits sound to the middle ear.

E.N.T.: The abbreviation for ear, nose, and throat.

Eustachian Tube: The air duct which connects the nasopharynx (back of the throat) with the middle ear; usually closed at one end, opens with yawning and swallowing; allows ventilation of the middle ear cavity and equalization of pressure on two sides of the eardrum.

Evaluation: Assessment, test.

Expressive Language: Communication of one's ideas, desires, or intentions to others, usually through speech or printed words.

F

Fistula: An abnormal opening, usually referring to a hole in the palate after repair.

G

Genetics: The science of heredity (how things pass from one generation to the next).

H

Hard Palate: The front part of the roof of the mouth containing bone covered by mucosa (pink "skin").

Hearing Impairment: A loss in hearing which may range from mild loss to complete deafness.

Heredity: The total of the physical characteristics, abilities, and potentialities genetically derived from one's ancestors.

Hypernasality: Speech that sounds overly "nasal," as if the person is "talking through his/her nose."

Hyponasality: Denasality. A lack of normal nasal resonance during speech.

L

Language Disorder or Impairment: Inability to communicate normally and effectively due to problems with comprehension or expression of language.

M

Malocclusion: A deviation from normal occlusion, that is, incorrect positioning of the upper teeth in relation to the lower teeth.

Mandible: The lower jaw.

Maxilla: The upper jaw.

Middle Ear: The portion of the ear behind the eardrum. It contains three small bones which transfer sound from the eardrum to the inner ear.

Myringotomy: A minor surgical procedure in which a small slit is made in the ear-drum to allow fluid to drain from the middle ear.

Multidisciplinary Team: A group of professionals who work together to help plan and carry out treatment for patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and related disorders. The group usually includes surgeons, dental specialists, speech pathologist, and others who meet regularly to evaluate and discuss the patients under their care.

N

Nasal Emission or Nasal Escape: An abnormal flow of air through the nose during speech. Usually indicative of an incomplete seal between oral and nasal cavities.

Nasal Septum: The "wall" that divides the nose into right and left halves. It normally joins the roof of the hard palate like an "inverted 7."

Nasopharyngoscope: A lighted telescopic instrument used for examining the passages in the back of the throat. Useful in assessing velopharyngeal function.

O

Occlusion: Relationship between upper and lower teeth when they are in contact. Refers to the alignment of teeth as well as relationship of dental arches.

Oral Cavity: The mouth bounded by the teeth in front and the soft palate at the back.

Oral Hygiene: Care of the teeth and gums which is performed at home on a daily basis. This is performed first by the child's parent or guardian while the child is small and eventually by the child under continued supervision of the parent or guardian.

Oral-Maxillo Facial Surgery: The specialty of dentistry concerned with management of dental and skeletal deformities.

Orofacial: Relating to the mouth and face.

Orthodontics: The specialty of dentistry concerned with the correction and prevention of irregularities and malocclusion of the teeth and jaws.

Orthodontic Care: Dental visits designed to move the teeth into better alignment with one another to improve chewing, oral hygiene, and appearance.

Otitis Media: Inflammation of the middle ear with accumulation of thick, mucous-like fluid - Ear infection.

Otolaryngologist: An "ear, nose and throat" physician specializing in the diagnosis and management of head and neck disorders.

P

Palatal Insufficiency: A lack or shortness of tissue preventing the soft palate from contacting the back of the throat (pharynx).

Palate: The roof of the mouth including the front portion, or hard palate, and the back portion, or the soft palate (also called the velum).

Pediatrician: A physician specializing in treatment of children.

Pediatric Dentistry: The specialty of dentistry concerned with the care of children's teeth.

Pharyngeal Flap: Surgical procedure designed to minimize hypernasality. A flap of skin creates a "bridge" between the soft palate and the back of the throat

Philtral Columns: Normal ridges in the skin of the central upper lip connecting the peaks of the Cupid's bow to the back of the nose.

Premaxilla: The small bone in the upper jaw which contains the upper four front teeth. Normally connected with the side segments of the upper jaw (maxilla) but separated in some clefts.

Preventative Dental Care: Regular dental visits during which teeth are checked for cavities and cleaned.

Prolabium: The central area of the upper lip beneath the center of the nose (columella) and between the philtral columns.

Prosthesis: An artificial substitute for a missing body part.

Prosthetic Speech Aid: A removable plastic appliance which provides a structural means of achieving velopharyngeal closure (separating the nose from the mouth).

Prosthodontist: A dentist who specializes in providing prosthetic appliances for oral structures.

Psychologist: An individual with the necessary academic training and experience to be licensed to practice psychology as a profession.

R

Radiography: Photographic film or plate depicting images of internal body parts. X-ray.

Resonance: Vocal quality associated with the vibration of air in the oral and nasal cavities.

S

Soft Palate: The back part of the roof of the mouth containing muscles and mucosa (pink "skin"). The Latin name for the soft palate is "velum".

Speech-Language Pathologist: An individual with the necessary academic training and experience to be certified or licensed to diagnose and treat disorders of speech, language, and communication.

Speech Defect: Deviation of speech from the range of normal.

Speech Videofluoroscopy: A tape recorded x-ray examination of the speech mechanism during function, focusing on the soft palate (velum) and walls of the throat (pharynx). Useful in assessing velopharyngeal function.

Sphincter Pharyngoplasty: Surgical procedure designed to minimize hypernasality.

Surgery: One of several medical specialties focused on the restoration and repair of various external defects.

Treacher Collins Syndrome (Mandibulofacial Dysostosis): See Fact Sheet.

U

Uvula: Small, cone-shaped muscular process hanging at the back of the soft palate.

V

Velopharyngeal Closure: The closing of the nasal cavity from the oral cavity which directs air used in speech through the mouth rather than the nose. It requires interaction of the muscles in the palate and the back of the throat.

Velopharyngeal Incompetence: Inability to achieve adequate velopharyngeal closure despite structures that may appear normal.

Velopharyngeal Insufficiency: A structural or functional disorder resulting in the inability to achieve adequate separation of the nasal and oral cavities.

Velum: The Latin name for the soft palate.

Voice Disorder: Speech problems such as hoarseness, low speaking volume, or strained voice quality.

2. Sony

Conceiving of many of these superior products, such as the VCR--one of the inventions to change our lives--and the Walkman, which was invented so that he could listen to his classical music at ear-splitting volume without disturbing his wife, Morita was one of the first to consider ergonomic design. The Sony design of things, such as the remote control that fits contentedly into the palm of the hand, is an early example of this focus.

Morita's genius was twofold: He wanted Sony products to be of the highest quality as well as beautiful; he was first in the electronics industry in this regard. Sony's figures for the year ended March 31, 2002, include: 7.578 trillion yen ($6.11 billion) in sales and 134.6 billion yen ($1.08 billion) in operating income. According to Tim Munoz, a partner at San Francisco-based branding-and-strategy consulting firm Prophet, "Sony is consistently introducing products that delight people, capturing their imaginations. They don't have to have a bunch of marketing people sit in a room crafting an image; the people in the lab are creating magic products."

"Sony's products stop you in your tracks," says Munoz. "The brand acquires an almost mystical quality." If a company can consistently create products such as this, which generate phenomena--and Sony does--it can effectively position itself accordingly as "the best" and eliminate competition. Or at least keep them awake at night.

3. Harley-Davidson

"Daring" is how Doug Spong of Carmichael Lynch Spong Public Relations describes the marketing style of Harley-Davidson (nyse: HDI - news - people ). Spong, who serves H-D as a client, goes on to say that Harley's brand "has as much relevance as some 100 years ago when the three Harley brothers and the Davidson boy started the company." The numbers for 2001 are impressive: $438 million in profit (up 25.9%) on $3.4 billion in sales (up 15.7%) and a share price increase of almost 40%.

The company had a very bumpy ride a few decades back and then engineered a startling turnaround. "In the case of Harley, the brand almost went away," Spong says. "The Japanese competitors were really forcing [it] to struggle." H-D was able to reverse course rapidly by focusing "on [its] core customer base while simultaneously expanding [its] appeal to an unexpected market: CEOs, lawyers, doctors and professionals," Spong says. The Harley-Davidson executives and marketing minds have "a very good idea of what their brand isn't, more than what it is," Spong adds. "Harley resonates in the heart, soul and mind of its customer. It's a unique bike--it's a Harley!"

4. Virgin

Virgin's Richard Branson has long been considered an entrepreneurial genius. Here's a guy who's hammered together an empire spanning retailing, records, entertainment, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, online car sales, airlines, travel, resorts, health care, trains, limousines, movie theaters, financial services, mobile phones, Internet service, publishing, radio stations, utilities, wines, mortgages and bridal stores. Branson himself has to venture a guess as to how many companies he owns, estimating 250--a good many of which are privately held. "The phenomenon at work at Virgin is the transition of the consumer perception of brands. Virgin doesn't think about what products [it makes], but how [its] products make people feel," says Patrick Palmer, chief strategic officer at Euro RSCG Tatham Partners in Chicago.

Branson's single-minded, relentless pursuit of infinitely expanding his Virgin brands is admirable. After starting Virgin as a student magazine and a small mail-order record company, Branson has built an enormous and diverse set of brands. Palmer tells a story about flying Virgin and catching sight of some very nifty, ornate salt-and-pepper shakers that "were just begging to be stolen." When a woman sitting alongside him lifted them up, on the bottom of each shaker was engraved "Pinched from Virgin." "It's just this kind of cheeky, fun and irreverent attitude that makes people feel good about Virgin's brand," Palmer says. One of Palmer's favorite concepts is "brand envelopes," which he describes by pointing out: "What's inside doesn't matter; it's what's around the envelope itself that matters. Consumers can step into the brand." Virgin has a very large brand envelope, indeed.

5. Southwest Airlines And EasyJet

Both Southwest Airlines (nyse: LUV - news - people ) and EasyJet were chosen on the weight of their performance in an incredibly challenging industry. EasyJet, while not as well-known in the U.S., is very much changing the competitive landscape for airlines in Europe and deserves inclusion on the basis of its competitive activities against much bigger airlines, including British Airways (nyse: BAB - news - people ).

Southwest Airlines' Herb Kelleher is a legend to many airline and business people. Many airline executives don't like him too much, because he has forced them to recognize the customer more, loosen up and look differently at revenue-per-passenger-mile numbers from which they operate. Kelleher, still the motorcycle-riding chairman of Southwest, got together with Rollin King some 30 years ago and decided that if an airline got its passengers to the destination on time for the most economical fare and "made darn sure they had a good time doing it," people would fly that airline.

Were they ever right. The most important part of it, the part that was truly differentiating marketing in the airline industry, was the fun part. This was the clearly special ingredient in a business that almost never communicated any fun to its customers. Southwest is now the fourth-largest airline in the U.S. and flies more than 64 million passengers per year to 58 cities. In 2001, Southwest posted its 29th consecutive yearly profit (remarkable for the airline industry) and had $511 million in net income on $5.6 billion in operating revenue.

Stelios Hajo-Ioannou, the gregarious and flamboyant founder and non-executive chairman of EasyJet, was to a large degree inspired by Herb Kelleher, according to John Quelch, a professor of marketing at Harvard University and a non-executive board member of EasyJet. Hajo-Ioannou, who started EasyJet in 1995 when he was 28, also emulated Virgin's Richard Branson. While borrowing from Kelleher on the airline side and Branson on the multiple-brand development side, Hajo-Ioannou has certainly replicated the best marketing thinkers and differentiators in their areas.

Hajo-Ioannou has since started EasyGroup, the parent of other "easy" businesses such as EasyInternetCafe (21 stores in 8 countries within two years, more than 60 shops now); EasyCar.com (car rental); EasyMoney (online MasterCard, likely expanding into further financial services); and EasyValue (online site for shopping comparison). When asked if Hajo-Ioannou might venture as far and wide as Branson into as many different businesses, Quelch points out that "Virgin has put [its] name on an incredibly wide set of products and services, and [EasyGroup] won't be getting into as wide an offering.

Apakah pernah ada yang mendapatkan pesan error "Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated" pada saat melakukan coding?

Pesan tersebut muncul karena versi PHP yang digunakan merupakan versi PHP 5 ke atas.

Tentunya problem tersebut dapat diatasi dengan men-downgrade versi PHP, tapi itu bukan solusi yang terbaik.

Berikut ada beberapa solusi yang dapat dicoba untuk mengatasi masalah di atas dengan sedikit melakukan editing.

Solusi 1:

- Buka file wp-config.php

- Tambahkan baris perintah " error_reporting(0); " tepat setelah baris pertama " <?php " sehingga menjadi seperti di bawah ini

How to clean your bathroom

Clean bathroom is what everyone wants. Here are some steps to clean your bathroom:

Preparation

Remove all the items that don't belong in your bathroom. Take all other items out of the bathroom. This includes items that don't belong in the bathroom, such as clothing and remove everything that is standing on the floor.
Pour a bleach or another disinfectant into the toilet bowl. Pour a bleach or another disinfectant into the toilet bowl and put the toilet brush inside the toilet with the actual brush inside the hole. This will help to sanitize the brush and get dirt off it.
Vacuum or sweep the floor. Start by vacuuming the floor or sweeping the floor. Vacuuming is preferred since it will remove all dust and hair. (Alternatively, you can wait until everything else is clean before you vacuum or sweep in order to make sure you get rid of the dust or other bits that fell on the floor while you were cleaning.)

Cleaning

Clean the wall, windows and/or ceiling. If you have mold on the ceiling start with spraying a water bleach solution on it and let it rest for a couple of minutes, do the same with the walls ( if they are tiles) or use another cleaning product. Clean the bathroom window on the in and outside. Go back to the ceiling and start scrubbing you will see that any dirt or mold easily come off. Rinse it carefully to avoid any stripes and dry it with a chamois or old towel. Do the same with the walls.
Spray an anti lime product on the faucets. Be sure to use an appropriate product for it otherwise this could damage them. Test it out on a non-visible spot before you actually use it. Spray the product on any material that is made out of stainless steel. Let it work for a couple of minutes.
Clean the shower. Spray an appropriate cleaning product on the shower walls,and the shower head and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Spray cleansers made especially for getting rid of soap scum work very well on tubs that haven't been cleaned in a while. For hard water areas that are prone to green and rust-colored stains, a cleanser made for eliminating calcium, lime and rust is probably what you need. Never use abrasive cleaners or green abrasive scrub pads or steel wool on porcelain fixtures, as they will quickly dull the finish. While you are waiting do the same with the tub.
- Go back to the shower and scrub the walls,faucet and shower head, rinse well with the hottest water and or dry with a chamois, you can use the squeegee also to make them dryer. You can shine the faucet with a paper towel or a towel. Do the same thing for the tub.
- Don't forget the shower curtain; it is also prone to mildew. A solution of about 2/3 water, 1/3 bleach in a spray bottle (designated for this express purpose!) can be handy for getting rid of mildew spots. Or you can take it down and wash it in hot water with a small amount of soap and bleach.
Clean the sink and counter area. You may use whichever cleaning product you used on the tub, but use it sparingly as it is harder to rinse the soap off a counter. Scrub all the soap scum and tooth paste off, rinsing your sponge thoroughly as you go along. A toothbrush or cotton swabs can be handy for getting the junk out from between the tap and handles. Be sure never to clean the sink and counter area with the same rag or paper towel you used to clean the toilet. This can spread leftover disease-causing germs to your sink and counter area. To prevent this you can use a specific rag which you use to clean only the toilet.
- Wipe off the fronts and tops of cabinets and drawers. You'll probably want to use hot, soapy water for this purpose. If you're worried about germs on these surfaces, add a bit of bleach to your soapy water.
- Clean the mirror or any other shiny object with a cleaner, rinse it and wipe the excessive water off with a squeegee and a chamois. To add a shine to your mirror add a bit vinegar to the water.
Clean the toilet. Wipe the exterior of the toilet, starting with the flush handle so as not to re-contaminate it, with a cloth soaked in disinfectant cleaner. Don't forget to use a cloth specially assigned for cleaning the toilet, or a paper towel (throw it away, don't flush it). Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush and flush.
- Every few cleanings, remove stubborn, fouled hard water and other deposits. This common, often inconspicuous odor source can be tricky to remove. Thoroughly wash and rinse all exterior surfaces of the toilet bowl, including the underside and flared base, the top and underside of the seat and lid, and the hinges and their mounting area with a cloth and detergent or similar cleaner. You probably won't have to scrub hard: let the soapy water and patience dissolve the problem. Coat the inside of the bowl with a viscous acidic cleaner generally sold in an angle-necked bottle. Take special care to cover the entire inside edge of the rim; it'll run down toward other areas. Allow the cleaner to soak for half an hour or more before scrubbing the entire bowl including under the rim with a toilet bowl brush, let it soak a little longer after it's been well-distributed though thinned by the initial scrubbing, then scrub some more and flush it away.
Mop or scrub the floor, starting with the farthest point from the door. Hot soapy bleach water will work best. Remember to rinse the floor with clean water to remove slippery soap residue. Be sure to get along the sides of your toilet bowl where it is anchored to the floor. This area is notoriously dirty. Don't forget to clean the base boards or base molds these places usually accumulates a lot of dust.
Dispose of your mop water and throw away any dirty cloths and or sponges.
Place all the items back that you took out once the floor is dry.

8 habits of highly effective people

Life today is very hard, that’s why we need new habits to make us a really different person. Here are some habits of highly effective people:

1. Surround yourself with passionate people. This is the foundation. Most people don’t believe you can do work you love because they’re constantly around people who hate their jobs and don’t know what excites them. This has to change. Those around you have everything to do with your success and your belief of what’s possible. You’ll either rise up or sink down depending on who’s next to you.

Passion is contagious. You must have an environment that embodies it. You need a support crew who believes what you believe. People who dream as big as you or bigger. Not only will they give you ideas but they’ll condition the belief that doing what you love is the norm. They fuel our passion and make the unthinkable possible, even normal. You’ll begin to expect the same of yourself.

It’s crucial to get this right. It’s why Leo and I get out on barefoot runs in San Francisco every week or so and why I’m on a quest to document 1,000 people across the world living their dreams. We all need encouragement.

Look around you. Do the people you see inspire and motivate you? Are they doing epic things? Do they love their work? Learn how to make genuine connections with new people doing interesting things. Check Craig’s List, MeetUp, coffee shop bulletin boards, Chamber of Commerce, Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn. Find people in your own town and online. Befriend them. Make them a part of your life. Get out on adventures together. Schedule a weekly dinner or drinks just to talk about what’s exciting. Environment is everything.

2. Create space. If you don’t give big ideas room, they’ll never show up. Purpose and passion are no different. Lack of space creates pressure – the ultimate killer of creativity. And nothing requires more creative juices than passion. Start small with five minutes each morning. Schedule downtime. Start walking to work instead of taking the bus. Don’t multitask. Get out in nature. Just be, let things flow and see what comes up. Give yourself permission to dream. Passion thrives in emptiness.

3. Help someone in a way only you can. We all have natural strengths and talents that can dramatically help those around us. What comes easy for you is no doubt challenging for others. We tend to take these for granted, often hardly noticing our own gifts, and rarely share them with others. Passion comes from using those on a routine basis. Ask yourself, What do people thank you for? What do people routinely ask for your help with? Most people’s passions help others in one way or another. Perhaps for you it’s knitting, teaching children math, cooking a good meal or leading a yoga class. Devote time each day to sharing your talents.

4. Keep a journal of what inspires and excites you. Let your thoughts run wild. Most importantly, keep a running list of what inspires you. Books, magazines, movies, people, products, music, stories, careers, everything. Most people have a brush with passion almost daily, unfortunately we’re often too busy thinking of our 97-item todo list to take in the education. Anytime something catches your eye or excites you, open up your journal and get it onto paper. Over the years you will have a running story of how you might enjoy spending your time.

5. Challenge the norm. Ask questions. Don’t take things as gospel just because that’s how they’ve always been done. Don’t aimlessly listen to those around you. Question everything you’ve been doing and are about to do, especially if you don’t enjoy it. Is it really what you want? Is it in line with who you are? Perhaps there’s a better way. There often is.

6. Scare yourself – Live outside your comfort zone. Passionate people thrive off uncertainty. If you aren’t doing things that give you a few goose bumps you’re either not learning, dying or bored out of your mind. None of which are good. Do something at least mildly uncomfortable daily. This could be as small as making a phone call or sharing your art with someone. Be vulnerable. There’s a pretty direct correlation between pushing limits and epic living.

7. Find the right reasons. If a passionate person gets fired, they brush it off and get excited about the opportunity the lost job must be presenting. You can’t control what happens but you can control your reaction to it. What challenges have come up today? How could you reframe them? The juiciest possibilities often have the best disguises. Notice them.

8. Learn something new. Become obsessed with learning everything you can find – new skills, approaches, ideas, you name it. If it interests you then it’s important enough to get in your brain. We have to fuel what excites us. Grab a magazine or book that interests you and read a few pages on the way to work or before bed. Passionate people almost always have a book within reach. Ideas can be found anywhere. Start looking. Be a sponge.

9. Start at blog. Surprise, surprise, right? But blogs are much more powerful than most realize. They’re a simple way to explore and share the thoughts and beliefs you’re excited about and for people to immediately see and provide feedback. Don’t worry about whether you’ll make money from it or who will read it. That’s not the point. The point is to constantly fuel something that interests you.

Booting LInux from external HDD on Eee Pc

Sometimes, it's necessary to be able to boot from external HDD on Laptop eg: Asus Eee Pc 701 or other brands. Most laptops today have more than enough capacity if you just want to browse the Internet, write documents, listen to audios and anything else.
But occassionaly, sometimes we want a little more. The smallest laptop eg the EeePC has at least 4GB, a capacity that was enough to strip down Linux, eg: Fedora.
But if we do so, it will reduce the hard disk capacity. and that's a little bit irritating. As a tricks, you can install Linux Fedora on an external drive instead, and use your fedora from the HDD. With Linux, that's an easy thing.

If you want to know how to install fedora as usual, you may find it here.

For this tutorial, i use:

Asus Eee Pc 701.
Fedora 10 on DVD, if you download the ISO, please burn it first on DVD.
External HDD
External DVD reader

These are the steps:

Prepare the Fedora DVD.
Connect external HDD and external DVD reader to Eee Pc
Boot from the Fedora 10 DVD.
Click thorugh the setting until you see
You should customize the partition table. Your partition setup should look like this:

sda - Eee Pc internal memory

[directory] - [file system] - [size]

/boot - ext3 - 4GB [min 100MB]

sdb - external HDD

[directory] - [file system] - [size]

/ - ext3 - 10GB

/home - ext3 - [allocate as large as you want]

NHibernate, Hibernate and Java

Hibernate is a library on java programming language. The function is as a framework top maps data bases on program's classes. So, the classes that will handles the CRUD (create, update and delete) functions and other transactional database functions.

While NHibernate is totally different with Hibernate. Prefix N shows that this platform was build and specifically designed for Microsoft's Net framework.

Although it's for Net framework, but this library is free and open source. The latest version of NHibernate while i write this post is 1.2, a version that already contains almost all features in Hibernate 3 for Java.

First time blogging using FLock

Although flock is already released some times ago. But today is my first try on it. Some of my initial impression about flock is:

ALmost all well known social networks services are available from this.
Free and open source.
Light.

I recommend this software to be used daily by professionals or home bloggers.

Inserting Adsense on Drupa 6

From my experience on my other site that uses drupal. As you know, drupal has released it’s latest version (6) some months ago. And it offers many features.

But to tell you the truth, migrating a platform is a painful job. Just like what vista users’ face on their first attempt to use vista after using win xp, it’s also true for Drupal 5 users who migrate to drupal 6.

One of the important aspect is the adsense code insertion in Drupal 6. When i use drupal 5, there are many modules that let me insert adsense code easily. but now, most of it haven’t yet upgraded.

Then i use a block to insert adsense code. but it’s failed since html filtering changes the code automatically. But after browsing from some sources here and here. I finally managed to make adsense codes work for Drupal 6.

The answer is by changing the block’s option from HTML to PHP codes. Since I tried to insert Adsense code as a block within a Drupal 6 site (using html block), but it didn’t work. So, after searching for some answers, finally i found it in a thread on Drupal site.

One way of saving a block without the HTML filter being applied is to choose PHP Filter as input format. Then, my Adsense blocks work just fine.
